Appendix 1: Setting up GitHub Desktop

• Select sign in to GitHub.com
• login to your GitHub Account
• You’ll be prompted to Configure Git by entering your name and your email
  • This is different from editing your profile on GitHub.com
• The last step is about whether you’d like to share your Activity with GitHub, select whichever option you want and hit finish.
